Brazil has taken complete control of their FIFA World Cup 2026 Group C clash against Haiti, heading into the break with a comfortable 3-0 advantage at Philadelphia Stadium.

Matheus Cunha starred for the five-time world champions with a first-half brace, scoring in the 23rd and 36th minutes, while Vinícius Júnior added a third goal in injury time.

Brazil is looking for its first win of the tournament after opening its campaign with a 1-1 draw against Morocco, while Haiti is hoping to bounce back after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Scotland in its opening match.

The team confirmed that Neymar did not travel with the squad to Philadelphia for the Group C match as he continues to recover from a calf injury.

Brazil, ranked 5th, is making its 23rd FIFA World Cup appearance and is the most successful nation in tournament history with five World Cup titles.

Haiti, ranked 83rd in the latest FIFA World Rankings, is appearing at the World Cup for only the second time, with its first appearance coming in 1974.

A win for either side would provide a major boost to their hopes of reaching the knockout stages from Group C, which also includes Morocco and Scotland.

Meanwhile, earlier today Morocco defeated Scotland 1-0 while USA beat Australia 2-0.

Turkey will face Paraguay at 3pm.
