Boseiwaqa confirms waste cleared at Carpenters Fiji's storage site

Carpenters Fiji has cleared the waste dumped at the backyard of their storage area in Walu Bay, Suva.

This action was taken after the issue was highlighted by fijivillage News.

Suva City Council Chairman, Tevita Boseiwaqa says they are always concerned about waste, the need to control indiscriminate dumping, and the importance of improving waste management practices.

He says that in this case, the issue involved Carpenters Fiji’s storage area in Walu Bay.

Boseiwaqa says that after the issue was raised, they spoke with Carpenters and managed to have the waste cleared.
