The body of the 50-year-old man who went missing in the Tulahewa River last week has been found.

Police say his body was discovered along the bank of the Tulahewa River, approximately 100 meters from the nearby village.

Meanwhile, search continues for a 16-year-old student from Wailevu Village, Wainibuka who disappeared while swimming in the Wainibuka River yesterday afternoon.

In a separate incident, the body of a 25-year-old man from Nasirotu Village was found in the Waidina River yesterday afternoon.

Vunidawa Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Police say search is ongoing, and investigations continue.
