The Nasinu Town Council is encouraging members of the public to help save lives by participating in a blood drive being held today at the Council's car park.
The initiative comes as the Ministry of Health Blood Bank urgently requires blood donations of all types to help meet the growing demand for blood supplies across the country.
The blood drive will run until 2pm, and people are being urged to bring along their family members and friends to support the life-saving cause.
For those who do not know their blood type, this is a great opportunity to find out, as you will receive information on your blood type and test results.
