The Blitzboks have finally won their first-ever HSBC Hong Kong 7s title after thrashing defending champions Argentina 35-7.
Selvyn Davids scored a double, with the other tries from Ryan Oosthuizen, Shilton van Wyk, and Tristan Leyds.
Santino Zangara scored the lone try for Argentina.
Argentina came up second best against the South Africans, who were running circles around them and scoring at will.
It was also a very special moment for Siviwe Soyizwapi, who debuted in Hong Kong 10 years ago.
South Africa now leads the World Championship standings with 20 points.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Men's National 7s side finished in 5th place after defeating Australia 26-10 and the Fijiana 7s beat Spain 31-12 to win the 7th place playoff.
Argentina is second with 18 points, Spain with 16 points, while the Fiji Airways Men's National 7s side is 5th with 12 points.
The World Championship moves to Valladolid, Spain, from the 29th to the 31st of May.
