15 young Fijians are urged to protect their dreams and make wise choices as they celebrated a milestone achievement at the iTaukei Land Trust Board scholarship awards at the Suvavou House.

Congratulating the recipients, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka described the event as a proud moment not only for the students, but also for their families and communities.

He reminded them that their success comes with responsibility.

Referencing the growing drug crisis affecting young people in Fiji, the Prime Minister warned of the consequences of poor decisions.

He says with the drug crisis that’s affecting our youths today, the unwise decisions that many have made have spoiled their lives.

Rabuka says they should be stronger than that.

He also encouraged the students to remain grounded and remember the sacrifices made by their families.
