The bail hearing for the four police officers who allegedly assaulted a man during a drug raid in Wailea Settlement in March 2024 will be held on the 1st of July.
Jekope Nakula, Maciu Tuira, Tokoni Nemia and Unaisi Leka appeared before Suva Magistrate Charles Ratakele, charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous harm.
The four are represented by Joji Cakau.
It is alleged that the four officers continuously assaulted Stephen Serukalou O’Connor on the 15th and 16th of March 2024.
