Ba Town Council's vision is to develop Ba into one of Fiji’s leading sports hubs and they are working with sporting organizations to bring as many sporting events as possible.

They are continuing to support youth development and sports in the town, especially at the newly upgraded 4R Stadium.

Special Administrator Chair, Moshim Khan says they are thankful to all stakeholders for their continued support in bringing rugby to the stadium as well.

Khan says previously, the venue was mainly used for football, but today both events are being successfully hosted at a high level for the people of Ba and the wider Western Division.

He says the town has also successfully hosted international football and rugby tournaments, creating exciting opportunities for youths and sports fans.

He says under the current leadership, together with the Government and the Fiji Football Association, one of the highest spectator turnouts during IDC 2025 was recorded.

Khan says they also strongly support the installation of permanent floodlights at 4R Stadium for night matches and major events in the future.

The Special Administrator Chair says discussions with the Government are continuing, with hopes for support in the upcoming national budget.

He adds that the Council continues to improve to provide the best possible service to the people and remains committed to working with every stakeholder to improve the town's well-being and growth.
