Auvray credits substitutes and team effort after Bula FC victory

Extra Bula FC Head coach Stéphane Auvray has credited his substitutes and the team’s determination after a strong second-half performance secured an important 2-nil win against Tahiti United.

The coach reveals that the substitutions made in the second half were planned in advance, as he believed the players coming off the bench could change the momentum of the match.

Auvray says the side has struggled to convert chances in recent matches, but the players’ hard work and refusal to give up paid off.

He admits it was not the team’s best performance but praised the players’ work ethic and fighting spirit throughout the match.

Auvray also highlights the performance of the goalkeeper, who made several key saves to keep the team in the game.

Meanwhile, Bula FC will take on South Island United at 4pm in Solomon Islands this Thursday.
