Arsenal extend Premier League lead with win over Brighton

Arsenal defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 1–nil to move seven points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Bukayo Saka scored the only goal of the match in the ninth minute.

Brighton created several chances but were unable to convert them.

Meanwhile, in other matches, title rivals Manchester City were held 2–all by Nottingham Forest, Newcastle upset Manchester United 2–1, Chelsea demolished Aston Villa 4–nil, while West Ham United defeated Fulham 1–nil.
