Team Fiji swimmer Anahira McCutcheon narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Women's 50 metres freestyle final after finishing 6th with a time of 25.53 seconds at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
McCutcheon qualified for the semifinals after finishing fourth in the heats with a time of 25.45 seconds.
Taking a look at last night's results, in the Men's 50 metres Butterfly, Reuben Taylor came 4th in his heat with a time of 26.18 seconds, Hansel McCaig finished 5th with a time of 25.00 seconds, while David Tolu Young came 6th in his heat with 24.28 seconds.
Don Younger swam a time of 2 minutes and 39.77 seconds in the Men's 200m breaststroke heats, while in the Mixed 4x100 metres medley relay Team Fiji came 7th with a time of 4 minutes and 17.01 seconds.
Australia has a commanding lead on the medal tally with 31 gold, 14 silver, and 22 bronze medals, England is second with 10 gold, 17 silver, and 13 bronze, while Canada is third with 10 gold, 8 silver and 11 bronze.
