Team Fiji swimmer Anahira McCutcheon is competing in the Women's 50 metres freestyle semi-finals this hour, with her race scheduled to start at 7.12am at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
McCutcheon qualified for the semifinals after finishing fourth in the heats with a time of 25.45 seconds.
Taking a look at last night's results, in the Men's 50 metres Butterfly heats Reuben Taylor came 4th in his heat with a time of 26.18 seconds, Hansel McCaig finished 5th with a time of 25.00 seconds, while David Tolu Young came 6th in his heat with 24.28 seconds.
Don Younger swam a time of 2 minutes and 39.77 seconds in the Men's 200m breaststroke heats, while in the Mixed 4x100 metres medley relay Team Fiji came 7th with a time of 4 minutes and 17.01 seconds.
Australia has a commanding lead on the medal tally with 28 gold, 13 silver, and 20 bronze medals, England is second with 10 gold, 17 silver, and 12 bronze, while Canada is third with 10 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze.
