Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has criticised a growing belief among players that they deserve game time without earning it.

He was responding to backlash over Kobbie Mainoo’s limited appearances, including a protest T-shirt and social media posts by young players.

Amorim says players should use tough times to improve, not complain, and believes they must fight for their place.

He also said his office door is open, but no player has come to speak with him.
