Alleged wife killer Apisai Madigibuli told to appeal his bail dismissal in Court of Appeal

The man who allegedly killed his wife at an apartment complex along Robertson Road in Suva in April, 2024 has been told by the Suva High Court to take his bail dismissal to the Court of Appeal.

Apisai Madigibuli is charged with one count of murder.

He appeared before Justice Dane Tuiqereqere this morning who told him that if he wants to appeal his bail dismissal, then he needs to take his case to the Court of Appeal.

Justice Tuiqereqere says Madigibuli can appeal as many times as he wants, but unless there is new evidence then he will review it, otherwise it will be rejected.

Madigibuli's trial date is set for April.

He will reappear in court on February 3.
