The case of alleged Raiwai Top Shop robbers has been transferred back to the Magistrates Court by High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.

23-year-old Lagani Rabukawaqa and 25-year-old Saimoni Macedru are charged with one count each of aggravated robbery.

The two allegedly assaulted a 50-year-old man who was waiting for a bus, and took his watch and $9 in December last year.

Their counsel says their bail had already been determined before the matter was moved to the High Court.

Justice Goundar has directed that a fresh bail application be made in the Magistrates Court.

Both men have been further remanded in custody.

The case has been adjourned to the 26th of this month.
