All civil servants will resume work today following advice from the Fiji Meteorological Services that rain-producing systems have gradually moved away from the country.
The government says Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Agencies have been given discretion to allow flexible working arrangements for staff whose residential areas or transport routes remain affected by flooding, as well as for staff whose children may be affected by targeted school closures.
Civil servants are advised to exercise caution when travelling and should not attempt to cross flooded roads, crossings, or other unsafe routes.
The government says it will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates as required.
