Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are set to meet in their long-awaited heavyweight mega-fight later this year.
Joshua will make his comeback on July 25th in a tune-up bout against Kristian Prenga before facing his great rival Fury.
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn posted on social media: “Signed, sealed and delivered — AJ vs Fury is on!”
He described it as “the biggest piece of business they have ever done, but more importantly, the one they have always wanted.”
Fury called out Joshua after his points victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this month and revealed that he had signed for the all-British mega-fight.
Ring Magazine has announced the fight is a done deal and will take place in the fourth quarter of this year in a social media post yesterday.
Hearn previously told Sky Sports that November was the targeted date for Joshua’s fight with Fury after his July comeback bout.
