Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh are showcasing a tougher and more fearless side in the newly released trailer for Alpha, the first female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe.
The adrenaline-fuelled trailer introduces Bhatt as Sita, a highly trained operative who is forced to take on the very organisation that shaped her after uncovering betrayal within the secretive Alpha program.
Raised and trained from a young age by her father, played by Bobby Deol, Sita evolves into a deadly assassin determined to carve her own path.
One of the trailer’s most talked-about moments sees her declare, “Sita aaj Lanka khud jalane aayi hai,” a line that has quickly gained attention online.
Sharvari Wagh also delivers a commanding performance, appearing in a series of intense action sequences that highlight her strength and combat skills.
Her on-screen presence alongside Bhatt adds a fresh and powerful dynamic to the franchise.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha promises a mix of emotion, suspense and large-scale action, while a surprise appearance by Hrithik Roshan at the end of the trailer hints at a major connection to the wider spy universe.
The film also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor and is produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films.
Alpha is set to be released in cinemas on July 3rd.
