A man in his 20s has died after the carrier he was travelling in veered off Keiyasi Road in Navosa and went down a slope yesterday.
Police say the man was travelling in a carrier with several other people when the accident occurred, adding that the identities of the victim, the driver and the other occupants are yet to be confirmed.
A passerby discovered the crash scene and rushed the injured person to Keiyasi Hospital, where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are continuing their investigations into the matter.
30 people have died in road accidents so far this year, compared to 35 during the same period last year.
