Representative from the Fiji Teachers Association Youth Wing, Inoke Ledua

Silence is part of the iTaukei tradition and culture but it needs to have its limitations when it comes to the work space.

While speaking to fijivillage news after the Bula Pulse Youth Talanoa session, a representative from the Fijian Teachers Association Youth Wing, Inoke Ledua says working culture will be at times difficult to blend with traditional culture and we need to get rid of such barriers for our youths to develop.

Ledua says to avoid such issues, the responsibility lies on the youths so that they can create a difference.

He says the elders need to have faith in youths for their voices to be heard.
