Young Kulas qualify for OFC U19 Women's Championship quarter final after beating PNG 2-0

The Digicel Young Kulas have booked a spot in the quarter finals of the OFC U19 Women's Championship after beating Papua New Guinea 2-0 in their final group match last night.

Kasanita Tabua and Evivi Buka scored for the Young Kulas.

Digicel Young Kulas defender Angeline Rekha has again won the Player of the Match Award.

Coach Angeline Chua says they had set out some goals and have achieved them.

She says the aim was to qualify as an under dog team and she is proud of the team.

She adds she will ensure that the team recovers after the match and focuses on their quarter final.

The Young Kulas will take on New Caledonia this Saturday in the quarter final with the time yet to be confirmed.
