Year 13 student, Azaria Sharma says she is looking for a job right now as her father who was the sole breadwinner for their family is unemployed and they need an income.

Sharma says her father who is an auto mechanic by profession is taking on private jobs right now to make ends meet but she hopes that the COVID-19 restrictions ease and her father gets his job back.

The 18-year-old from Nakasi says in the meantime she has applied for jobs and is hoping to get a response soon.

She says she wants to be a nurse as this has been her goal since childhood.

Sharma further says she has been studying through Moodle and has been accessing the worksheets online.

She says they have also been taking three classes a day through Zoom.

The Year 13 student says she has been facing a lot of challenges with this new method of learning as she is not able to grasp some concepts easily compared to the face to face classes.

She says there are connectivity issues during zoom classes that she has to deal with.

Sharma also says she has been keeping sane through all this by staying in touch with her friends through Facebook Messenger and Viber.

She adds her family is really supportive of each other and they hope people get vaccinated, things normalise and her father gets his job back.
