Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says Year 12 and 13 students will resume classes from 1st November.

While announcing the easing of COVID restrictions today, Bainimarama says the Ministry of Education will announce the reopening of schools for other classes later.

Bainimarama says they are prioritizing the Years 12 and 13 because many of these students are preparing for University or vocational training and they are at an important point in their academic careers.

The Prime Minister has urged parents to get their children vaccinated before classes resume.
