Year 10 exams to begin today

Year 10 exams to begin today

Year 10 students around the country will be sitting for their examinations today.

The examinations will continue until next Monday.

Last year a total of 14,369 students sat for the Fiji Year 10 Examination.

The Year 13 examinations will start next Monday.

In the upcoming weeks Year 7, 9, 11, and Year 12 students will also begin their Term 3 examinations.

While giving his best wishes to all the students, Minister for Education, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says we know this time can be stressful. He says all that being said, no exam is the sole determinant of your future. He says all students have far too much potential for one exam to ever assess and no exam can ever reveal everything that life has to offer you.

The Education Minister says there will be choices, opportunities and twists and turns throughout their entire lives, but know that the Ministry of Education will be there to support the students, no matter where you may be, no matter what you may want to learn, and no matter what time in your life you seek further education.
