Women’s Hockey team finish in 12th place at Hockey 5s World Cup

The Fiji Women’s Hockey team finished 12th at the International Hockey Federation Hockey 5s World Cup in Oman.

The side won 2 of their six matches.

They lost to Australia 8-3 in their final match last night.

Looking at their other matches, Fiji went down 14-1 against the Netherlands, they then defeated Oman 3-2 before holding Malayasia in a 4-all draw.

The side beat Zambia 6-3 and then lost to Namibia 9-3.

Dutta Tiara scored 8 goals, Bukalidi Lora and Kumar Divyankar scored 4 goals each, Ravatu Lala scored twice, while Nautu Melba and Fabiano Catherine scored a goal each.
