Women in Beqa concerned over low church attendance despite high rally participation

A representative of the women in Beqa within the Methodist Circuit has expressed concerns over women attending divisional rallies in large numbers, but not showing up when it comes to attending church services in their own villages.

Speaking to fijivillage News at the Methodist Church Annual Conference at the Vodafone Arena, Lavenia Mataitini says many women have also stopped attending church because they do not have any tithe to give.

She says this has been a common occurrence within the Methodist Church community and is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Mataitini also urges women from every church in Fiji to stay true to the word of God and not lose their way.
