The 24-year-old woman believed to be the mother of the baby boy whose body was discovered on Thursday will be further questioned once she is medically fit.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the suspect had received further medical treatment.
The body of the boy was found by Suva City Council workers in Veiuto.
Investigations continue.
