Witnesses provide key evidence in Commission of Inquiry - Mason

All witnesses are forthcoming in providing their evidence in the Commission of Inquiry regarding the appointment of Barbara Malimali as the Commissioner of FICAC.

Senior Legal Counsel Janet Mason says they are doing their best to complete hearing evidence from 34 witnesses by the end of January.

Mason says today they heard from the Leader of the Opposition, Inia Seruiratu, and the Secretary of the Electoral Commission.

She adds tomorrow they will continue hearing from Seruiratu before moving on to FICAC investigators.

The Commissioner of Inquiry and Supreme Court Judge, Justice David Ashton Lewis says 29 witnesses are yet to provide their evidence.
