Wise resigns as PS in the Office of the PM and FPCL Chair

The Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Fiji Ports Corporation Ltd, Pita Wise has voluntarily resigned from the civil service due to personal reasons.

While confirming this, Public Service Commission Chairman, Luke Rokovada highlighted Wise's long and distinguished career in government service.

Rokovada says Wise has served as the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister since January 2023, bringing extensive experience from his previous roles in various administrations.

He says his career spanned over 30 years, during which he played an instrumental role in numerous government initiatives and policies.

Wise’s resignation is effective from today.
