The wife of escapee Deshwar Dinesh Dutt has been taken in for questioning for her alleged involvement in her husband’s escape.
Police Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu says information gathered by police points to her alleged involvement in the circumstances that led to Dutt’s escape from lawful custody.
He says they also continue to request for information about Dutt’s whereabouts and he is believed to be in the Western Division.
Deshwar Dinesh Dutt escaped from the custody of Correction Officers at Nadi Magistrates Court on Friday, anyone with information is requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919.
