Captain Sereima Leweniqila says they are grateful to be here, and it has been a journey for them as they have been through some tough times to be at the World Cup.

England captain Sarah Hunter says they can not wait for their opening match this Saturday.

The long-awaited and highly anticipated tournament will kick off at the famous Eden Park this Saturday in front of a record-breaking crowd for a women’s match of more than 30,000 fans.

The Fijiana's first match is against England at 3.45 pm Saturday.
