The Fiji weight-lifting team returned home with 3 gold medals, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals from the IWF World, and Commonwealth and Oceania championships in Samoa.
Team official Della Shaw said although they won these many medals, they still failed to qualify for next year's Olympics.
Manueli Tulo won 2 gold medals in the Commonwealth and Oceania championships and won a bronze medal in the World Cup.
Joe Vueti managed to win 1 silver and 1 Bronze while Kesa Tuwai won 1 Gold in the Oceania and 1 Bronze in the Commonwealth championships.
Ivy Shaw won 3 silver medals in the three championships.
