Attorney General and FijiFirst candidate, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says as they announced in the 2018/2019 National Budget, the FijiFirst government will do an assessment and review of the minimum wage.
Sayed-Khaiyum said this during a campaign meeting in Cuvu.
He says this will not just be for an unskilled worker who is earning $2.68 but also for the hotel workers, chefs, joiners, carpenters, electricians and plumbers.
Sayed-Khaiyum says they will review everybody’s wages, but they will do it in a way where nobody loses his job.
He says the National Federation Party is saying something quite different.
