Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro

There will be a review of the programs of learning that must be tackled to ensure they suit the times we are in and the demands of the fast-evolving world we must now prepare for.

This was highlighted by Education Minister Aseri Radrodro during his welcome by the Ministry.

Radrodro says tertiary learning institutions will be part of their consultation process and they will be submitting to Cabinet to have a National Education Summit to allow them to all collectively address these issues they need to address as partners and stakeholders of the Education Sector in Fiji.

Radrodro told the staff there will be policy issues that they will now delve into beginning with the reinstatement of the three term study year.

He adds if there will be changes to any school term, they need to hold wide consultations on the need to do so to enable all stakeholders to take responsibility and feel a sense of ownership of any decision making.
