We look forward to further collaboration in the education sector through the Indian High Commission – Kumar

Minister for Education Premila Kumar says Fijian students continue to access prominent Universities and Colleges in India through the numerous scholarship programs offered by the Government of India.

She made these comments while receiving a courtesy call from the Indian High Commissioner to Fiji, Palaniswamy Subramanyan Karthigeyan.

Kumar says India continues to make investments in a number of sectors of the economy and she looks forward to further collaboration in the education sector through the High Commission.

Kumar also thanked the Indian government for assisting Fiji with the AstraZeneca vaccines, medical supplies as wells as other support to enable us to address the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
