We haven’t been consistent enough in the way we play - Kolinisau

We want to be consistent, and we have not been consistent enough in the way we play.

Consistency is all that’s stopping the Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s side writing their names into Fiji folklore in 2025, according to Olympic gold medal-winning captain turned head coach Osea Kolinisau

Kolinisau knows exactly how his team can overturn a six-point deficit over the closing rounds of the SVNS Series and finish as league champions.

He says they have lost opportunities, games they should have won.

The former Olympian blames inconsistency for this.

Fiji had earlier defeated the USA 26-14, edged Ireland 21-19, they got thumped by Argentina 35-7 before edging Spain 31-28 in extra time in their quarter final from a Iowane Teba penalty kick.

Fiji play Olympic champions France at 6.23 this evening in the second cup semi final.

Australia meets Argentina in the other cup semi final at 6pm.

The final is at 10.46pm.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team takes on USA at 6.49 in the 5th place play off.
