In the last couple months, more than 560 teachers have been transferred under family reunion.
This was highlighted by Education Minister Premila Kumar while speaking at Dogotuki District School in Macuata.
Kumar says they have changed their transfer policy, and placed high priority for those teachers who want to transfer for family reunion.
Kumar says they believe when the teachers are happy then obviously they will be able to teach the children better.
