Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho

Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho says from intelligence analysis and information gathered, they do not expect anything out of the ordinary to happen during the general elections.

While responding to questions during a press conference today, Qiliho says they are prepared for the elections.

He says there are over 5,000 staff of the Fiji Police Force and everybody will be involved in the operations.

Qiliho says this is why all the officers will be voting during the pre-poll period so they are freed up.

He adds it should be a smooth conduct of elections operations.
