The Fiji Water Flying Fijians are aware of the physicality that Manu Samoa will bring with them this week, but captain Tevita Ikanivere is determined the players are ready to counter this physicality.

Ikanivere says one of the things discussed is to train and work on the strategies they have planned out so they can retain the title they won last year.

He says as a captain, he is grateful to get the full support from his teammates and the management, especially from players who have played in two or three World Cup tournaments.

The Flying Fijian will play Manu Samoa at the HFC Bank National Stadium this Friday at 6pm.
