This is the statement made by Fiji Airways National Men’s 7s coach Ben Gollings as they are in preparation mode for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Gollings says it is about fine-tuning a few aspects of their game, including the mental side.
He says once they put themselves in a good position, their aim is to finish off games.
They have a busy few weeks ahead as they will be using the Fiji Bitter Yalovata 7s in Ovalau which kicks off today and the McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s next week as warm up matches.
Fiji are currently third on the series standings with 30 points after 2 tournaments.
The HSBC SVNS Series continues in Perth from the 26th till the 28th of this month.
