Good news as water supply for more than 30 families in Velaidan Road in Nacovi, Nadi has been restored after being without water for 5 days.

This comes as fijivillage News highlighted the plight of resident Karishma Kumari who says she was worried about cooking meals for her children before they went to school.

Kumar says supply was restored last night however, they did not have water at 6am.

She says she has been reassured that supply will be restored this evening.

The mother of 2 says a Water Authority of Fiji staff visited her family yesterday evening and this morning.

While responding to questions by fijivillage News, WAF says the supply was disrupted due to two burst pipes.

They assure that it has now been repaired and the families should not have any disruption.

WAF adds they will also be filling the water tanks of the residents.
