Water restoration is currently underway after repair works have been completed at the Waila Water Treatment Plant.
Thousands of people living in the Central Division have been facing water cuts due to an electrical switchboard burnout at the water treatment plant.
Areas affected include Raralevu, Rewa Depot, Wainibuku, Kalabu, Nasinu, Flagstaff, Tovata, Makoi, Cunningham, Sakoca, Khalsa, Tacirua, Dokanisuva and Colo-i-Suva.
Water Authority of Fiji says the timeline for full water restoration will be dependent on the elevation of the affected area.
