Water problems emerge again

Water problems emerge again
Water problems have emerged again for residents of greater Suva area as water cuts have been experienced for the past few days.

This includes areas from Delainavesi to Togalevu, Tamavua-i-wai, Wailoku and Savura.

Water Authority of Fiji Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said this is due to repair works on pumps in Savura and Waimanu after developing mechanical problems.

He said technicians are still fixing the pumps which are expected to have normal water supply by early tomorrow morning by the latest.

Water trucks have also been arranged to cart water from this morning to all these areas.

Meanwhile other areas affected are areas along Ratu Mara Road from Fiji National University to Raiwasa Road, whole of Samabula South and North , Rewa Street, Khalsa Road, Princess Road, Namadi, Tacirua East, Ratu Sukuna Road,

Tovata, Tuirara, Naveiwakau, Newtown, Caubati, Cunningham, Nepani, Nadawa, Nakasi, Waila 3B and Farm Road

Residents are advised to use rain water for other purposes and to use it wisely
