Water level rising in Rewa River and NDMO wants people living nearby to move

The water level is rising in the Rewa River.

The National Disaster Management Office says people who live near the Rewa River are strongly encouraged to move to safety while it is still daylight.

We have received information that Rewa River has burst its banks and various villages situated along the river bank have been affected.

People residing in areas like Withrow Road in Dilkusha, Toga, Koronivia, Nakaikogo and Lokia have also been affected by flood waters.
