People living along Kinoya, Vatuwaqa, Raiwaqa and surrounding areas will experience water disruption due to the installation of a valve at Nasinu and Flagstaff Reservoir from the 18th of this month.

The Water Authority of Fiji says the work will end on the 19th of this month.

They also wish to inform the public about the Nasinu area bulk line rectification works, which includes the installation of a new DN600 line valve for the Nasinu Reservoir inlet.

WAF says these works are part of their ongoing efforts to improve the reliability and efficiency of water supply systems in the Nasinu area.

They say the planned works will involve closing off the DN600 Line valve that supplies Nasinu Reservoir and Flagstaff Reservoir.

They add the affected areas will be Kinoya, Laucala Beach, Vatuwaqa, Raiwasa, Raiwaqa, Raiwai, Caubati, Lower Cunningham, Fletcher Road, Grantham Road, Laucala Bay Area, Vesi Street, Domain, Queen Elizabeth Drive.
