Wallabies prop James Slipper insists this year’s battle for the Bledisloe Cup is still alive.
The All Blacks went one win up in the series on Sunday, with the 27-7 win at Eden Park, which followed the 16-16 draw in Wellington.
As the All Blacks are the current holders of the Bledisloe Cup, they only need to win one of their next two tests against Australia, when the series resumes in Sydney on October 31.
But Slipper says there’s still everything to play for and is optimistic that the Wallabies can get the job done on home soil.
He says there is a lot of confidence in the group and they are well aware that this Bledisloe is still alive.
The All Blacks face the Wallabies on the 31st of this month.
