Wales and France to meet in first semi
The Wales team has engraved their name in Rugby World Cup history after booking their second semifinal since 1987 with a 22-10 victory over Ireland in Wellington last night.

Early in the first half, the smallest man on the field, Shane Williams, opened the scoring for Wales in the third minute for them to lead 7-0.

Ireland came from behind for a 10-3 score line at halftime in favor of Wales.

The Irish started strongly in the second half to draw the match at 10-all before Wales halfback, Mike Philips and center, Jonathan Davies scored for a 22-10 win.

Wales coach Warren Gatland said the hard work for his young team has paid off.
