WOWS Kids frozen funds to be transferred soon from Fiji Cancer
Baba of VitiFm gets a donation for WOWS Kids Fiji

The many months of tirelessly waiting for the transfer of WOWS Kids Fiji funds of $499,000 from the Fiji Cancer Society account is expected to come to an end soon.

WOWS Kids Fiji Chairman Makrava Wilson said this was highlighted during the Annual General Meeting of the Fiji Cancer Society chaired by Nazhat Shameem.

Wilson said initially they would only receive fifty percent of the money pending clarification from Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority, however, this will not be the case anymore.

He also said the Society understands that by Monday or Tuesday WOWS Kids will be visiting the Society kindly requesting for the transfer of the funds into their account.

Wilson said it is a welcoming news as the Foundation aims to continue with the work they are doing.

Majority of the funds that was collected for WOWS is through the 2012 Walk On Walk Strong campaign where you the listeners of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam contributed towards the worthy cause.
