WOWS Kids Fiji to hold Christmas Gala night for children and parents to share their stories

19 children at WOWS Fiji pass away this year from cancer

WOWS Kids Fiji will be holding a Christmas Gala Ball on the 9th of next month at the Grand Pacific Hotel where children and parents will share their stories.

WOWS Kids Fiji Chair and Co-founder, Sina Kami says an average of 20 children in their care die annually, while from January to date, 19 children have passed away due to cancer.

Kami says there is a total of 77 children who are under their care; 38 in the Central Division, 9 in the North, 13 in the Western Division and 15 cases for palliative care.

She also thanked All Freight Logistics for their support.

All Freight Logistics, Sales and Marketing Manager, Apakuki Raisuaki says they believe in the power of community and compensation and a collective effort to be able to make a positive impact.

Raisuaki says the fight against cancer is the foundation of their commitment to support those who are in need.
