The Fiji Roads Authority is aiming to finish the work along Kings Road by tonight into tomorrow morning.
The Water Authority has repaired the sewerage pipe that compromised the area of the road.
The area has been filled with concrete which is now curing.
FRA CEO, Kamal Prasad says once the cement is ready, FRA will begin its work.
Expect the traffic jam to continue along Kings Highway as the Suva bound lane between Wainivula Road and Cunningham Road is still closed.
