Water has been restored to the residents of the lower Samabula area, Sakoca, and Tacirua areas, and around the general Lami area that was affected by water cuts after there was a blockage at the Savura Raw Water Pumping Station.

Water Authority of Fiji Chief Operating Officer, Seru Soderberg says they have not completed the restoration and are looking at restoring water to the Upper Samabula areas, Dokanaisuva and Colo-i-Suva by midday today into the evening.

He adds they are working on trying to get rid of air out of the system and are flushing the air before they can restore it to the rest of the areas.
